Many of the world’s most respected health organizations have suggested that a lack of minerals may be the “Root of All Disease”. Although minerals are extremely important for our well-being, yet in the past they have always been taken for granted, as there was the prevalent belief that our normal intake of foods would be sufficient to keep us in the prime of health. Because minerals are locked in the crust of the earth, our main link with minerals is primarily through a diet of plants and from meat of animals that eat plants.

The human body is said to require at least 60 minerals for optimal health. But scientific tests run on a wide range of foods found that only about 15 minerals are available in any kind of quantity in most of the food we eat today.
